Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with six years of probation/community supervision experience or related work.
• Experience leading teams or multiple staff and projects.
• Experience with legislation or working with legislators or their staff.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of the Division of Probation Services.
• Assumes the responsibilities of the Director of Probation Services in the Director's absence.
• Supports strategic planning, implementation of plans, risk management, and coordination with other divisions.
• Assists in signing authority, training, hiring procedures, budgets, and legislative matters.
• Oversees multiple probation programs including interstate compact, program support, research and evaluation, and staff development.
• Contributes to development and revision of programs for administration and operation of the Judicial Department.
• Drafts reports, procedures, rules, recommendations, and Chief Justice Directives.
• Serves as central coordinator for regular communication with field stakeholders and external agencies.
• Supervises and coaches Division managers and oversees multiple units.
• Assigns tasks, sets expectations, and provides feedback to staff.
• Attends meetings and training as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
