The West Virginia State Bar is looking for a Deputy Director to enhance the legal profession and support the state's county prosecuting attorneys. This role involves strategic management, training program development, and legislative monitoring within the criminal justice system.

Ideal candidates should have a strong background in criminal prosecution, leadership, and public service, along with a Juris Doctor degree and membership in good standing with the West Virginia State Bar.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the West Virginia State Bar.
• Intensive criminal trial experience, preferably as a prosecuting attorney.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Executive Director in daily administration and strategic planning.
• Develop and deliver training programs for prosecutors.
• Provide expert case consultation and trial support.
• Monitor pending legislation affecting criminal justice.
• Serve as a liaison to prosecuting attorney’s offices and state agencies.
