Job summary

Chugach Tribal Services seeks a Deputy Director to oversee grant management, fundraising, and program development. The role requires coordinating grant proposals, budgets, compliance, and reporting while guiding projects from inception to completion.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will lead development staff, manage donor engagement, and ensure programs advance the socio-economic well-being of Alaska Native communities including shareholders and descendants from the Chugach Region.

Qualifications

• Experience in grant writing and managing awarded funds.
• Experience in nonprofit fundraising and project development.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grant management lifecycle, including proposals, budgets, compliance, and reporting.
• Coordinate fundraising plans, donor engagement, and development metrics for leadership.
• Lead development staff and ensure timely project completion within budgets.
