Best Buddies International in Colorado seeks a Deputy Director, Family Support to oversee the state-wide Family Support program, recruit mentors, train volunteers, and ensure program goals are met.

The role requires travel, evening/weekend work, and collaboration with hospitals and community partners. Strong writing and presentation skills are essential to advance the mission and engage stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or at least three years relevant experience.
• Experience in program development and leading/developing volunteers.
• Nonprofit experience preferred and must believe deeply in our organization's mission.
• Superior persuasive writing and presentation skills with the ability to inspire others and articulate the mission, goals, and activities of Best Buddies.
• Proficiency and comfort with Microsoft Office, digital meeting software, and learning & development facilitation software.
• Understanding of best practices in parental issues and the challenges faced by families with IDD.
• Superior project management skills including planning, analysis, decision making, and problem solving.
• Must be highly dependable and able to lead volunteers to set expectations.

Responsabilités

• Oversees all day-to-day operations of Family Support program in area.
• Travels throughout assigned area to recruit mentors/mentees and promote the program.
• Implements the Eunie's Buddies program with volunteer training/management and outcomes assessment.
• Collaborates with colleagues to meet Eunie's Buddies and Siblings program goals.
• Develops strategies to identify and engage potential parent mentors and mentees.
