Job summary

Best Buddies International is seeking a State Director in Las Vegas, NV to lead statewide operations, secure funding, and ensure program success across offices. The role reports to the Senior Director, State Operations and requires seasoned fundraising and leadership skills.

The State Director will develop annual plans, manage budgets, supervise state staff, and coordinate advisory boards, volunteers, and events. Travel and flexible hours are expected to achieve goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or at least 4 years' relevant experience.
• Four to seven years in fundraising with donor cultivation, grants, events, and board management.
• Three to five years of management/supervisory experience with team-building skills.
• Superior persuasive writing and presentation skills to articulate Best Buddies mission.

Responsibilities

• Oversee statewide program operations with local staff and HQ Programs Team.
• Plan and implement statewide fundraising events and training initiatives.
• Ensure program participants and staff are integrated into statewide fundraising/awareness efforts.
• Develop statewide funding strategies with local staff and volunteers.
• Manage state budget, donations records, and fundraising reports.
