Job summary

FM Talent Source is seeking a Deputy Digitization Lead for a nationwide federal records digitization and modernization initiative in the United States. You will guide a team of Digitization Analysts, coordinate with the Workstream Lead, and ensure timely delivery with quality and client alignment.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication to drive complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project or program management.
• Experience leading or supervising professional staff.
• Proven success managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet and MS Project.
• Ability to obtain a Federal Public Trust or other suitability as required.
• Strong written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Workstream Lead with planning, execution, coordination and delivery of project activities.
• Translate objectives into detailed schedules, milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using project management tools.
• Track progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and milestones.
• Monitor resource utilization and workload distribution across team members.
• Lead Digitization Analysts, SMEs and vendor resources.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and performance standards.
• Prepare status meetings, leadership briefings and reviews.
• Present updates, risks and mitigation strategies to client leadership.
• Maintain dashboards, status reports and leadership briefs.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinate digitization vendors and monitor performance.
