Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Deputy Deployment Lead in the Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) to drive on-site and automated deployments of platform, network, firewall, and related services. You will coordinate with engineering, operations, logistics, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful installation, configuration, and acceptance at customer sites.

The role requires strong coordination, technical oversight, and execution skills to support fielding and operational readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Management or related field, plus ≥8 years of relevant experience.
• Significant experience as a systems administrator supporting large user populations and technical staff (developers, testers, engineers).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Linux and Microsoft servers/workstations, OS hardening (DISA standards), deployment, patch management, backup/restore, and security.
• Proficiency with Windows Server 2016/2019 and Active Directory; ability to coordinate complex site deployments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and execute site deployments with Deployment Lead and PMO.
• Lead integrated infrastructure deployment at contractor and customer sites.
• Develop deployment plans, schedules, readiness criteria, checklists, and completion requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Platform, Network, Firewall, Backup/Recovery, IaaS, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Test).
• Serve as primary technical liaison with on-site teams, remote engineers, and customers.
• Oversee site readiness, installation, integration, testing, and acceptance activities.
