Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Deputy Deployment Lead to coordinate on-site deployment of platform, network, firewall, backup/recovery, DevOps, and related enterprise capabilities. You will ensure installations meet technical requirements, integrate with engineering, and drive readiness across customer environments.

The role requires coordinating with engineering, logistics, and customer stakeholders, managing risks, and guiding deployment activities in a fast-paced, security-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Significant experience as a systems administrator supporting large user populations.
• 5+ years of hands-on Linux and Windows server/workstation experience.
• Experience with OS/app hardening including DISA standards.
• Experience with deployment planning, patch management, and backup/restore.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site deployment of Platform, Network, Firewall, Backup & Recovery, and DevOps capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Platform, Network, Firewall, IaaS, DevOps, and Cybersecurity.
• Develop deployment plans, schedules, readiness criteria, and checklists.
• Perform readiness reviews and provide go/no-go recommendations.
• Oversee installation, configuration, testing, and customer acceptance activities.
