Qualifications

• Significant executive or senior management experience in a large local government, public agency, regional organization, or comparably complex organization.
• Proven ability to work directly with elected officials and to lead multiple departments or cross‑functional initiatives.
• Enterprise leadership with the ability to lead beyond departmental silos.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and oversight to assigned departments and agency directors.
• Advise the County Executive on economic development, land use, transportation, infrastructure, and related policy matters.
• Translate priorities into coordinated strategies, implementation plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead cross‑departmental initiatives requiring collaboration across organizational boundaries.
• Integrate economic development, transportation, infrastructure, and development policies to advance long‑term objectives.
