Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Florida bar admission in good standing.
• At least 1 year of professional legal experience, preferably in a public agency or higher education setting.

Responsibilities

• Supports VP with handling legal issues for university departments and executive team.
• Assists with administration of legal affairs including litigation, hearings, contracts, policies, and procedures.
• Drafts and reviews complex legal documents, policies, and resolutions while ensuring legal compliance.
