Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Requires successful completion of written exam, physical agility, polygraph, and medical screening.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with no disqualifying criminal history and successful background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and execute civil papers including citations, subpoenas, and restraining orders.
• Perform bailiff duties and transport prisoners to courts and jail.
• Make arrests and enforce warrants and other court orders as required.
