Job summary

Mastery Schools seeks a Deputy Chief of Postsecondary Success to lead the vision and implementation of postsecondary readiness across High School Redesign. You will guide college and career advising, work-based learning, and alumni support to ensure coherent pathways from ninth grade through graduation.

The role demands deep collaboration with Academic, Schools, Data, and External Affairs teams, high expectations for equity, and a track record of improving student outcomes across multiple high

Qualifications

• Mastery requires a Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of senior leadership in education or postsecondary access.
• Demonstrated ability to design and scale complex programs across multiple schools.
• Strong data literacy to monitor postsecondary indicators and drive improvements.
• Experience leading college access, career readiness, and postsecondary partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Postsecondary Strategy across ninth through twelfth grade, aligning with school redesign plans.
• Oversee a college and career advising model and expand career-connected learning.
• Monitor postsecondary indicators and drive action plans for improvement.
• Build capacity of school leaders to own postsecondary outcomes as a core metric.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure coherent, equity-focused programming.
