Job summary

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited school (allopathic or osteopathic)
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state, territory, or D.C.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service at Durham VA Health Care System
• Travel between campuses as needed; primary duty station is Durham campus
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality across clinical and anatomic pathology services
• Lead and supervise staff; coordinate with clinical services and academics
• Participate in call and coverage rotations; ensure continuous operation of the lab program

Degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent
