Salary:Salary Depends On Experience (DOE), starting at $90,000
Location:Boise, Idaho. As Idaho’s capital, Boise is a growing city of approximately 226,570 and offers a rich variety of both cultural and recreational opportunities. Idaho’s world-famous fly-fishing, skiing, kayaking and hiking are all within easy access.
Primary Duties:
This position handles direct work / caseload for the Department of Finance, Financial Institutions Bureau. Duties include providing advice and counsel to the Bureau Chief and staff regarding federal and state laws related to banks, credit unions, trust institutions, and business and industrial development corporations.
Duties may include contested administrative actions, appeals, review of policies, advising on public records law, litigation, contract review and drafting, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Five years of legal experience preferred. Must exhibit strong research, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must be a member in good standing of the Idaho State Bar or eligible for admission on reciprocity.Must be licensed to practice law in Idaho. Excellent research, writing, and word processing skills are a prerequisite.
