Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Orlando is seeking a Sustainment Engineer to support the TacIRST sustainment team by troubleshooting and evaluating customer fielded hardware at the in-plant depot. You will work with Production, Planning, Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality, Contracts and other logistics staff to complete depot operations.

You will design, develop and implement testing/rework procedures to expedite repairs, perform complex maintenance and fault isolation on electro‑mechanical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to understand schematics, generate rework instructions, diagnose faults and troubleshoot assemblies.
• Ability to generate and maintain rework/retest instructions for observed faults.
• Ability to perform electrical measurements with test equipment to verify tolerances.
• Identify and repair solder joints and SMT defects.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong experience in test, troubleshooting and repair of complex circuits and assemblies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and procedures.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the TacIRST Sustainment engineering team in troubleshooting and evaluating customer fielded hardware at the depot.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality, Contracts/Subcontracts and logistics staff to complete depot activities.
• Design, develop and implement testing and rework procedures to expedite repairs.
• Perform complex maintenance tasks such as rework and fault isolation on electro‑mechanical assets.
• Act as liaison between Depot and Test Engineering to ensure Test Station serviceability.
