Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation invites engineering interns to join the Sustainment Electrical Team in Florida. The role provides structured exposure to the electrical system integration test lifecycle through test preparation, observation, data support, and guided assistance, under mentorship.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Foundational coursework or curiosity in electrical circuits, instrumentation, or test & evaluation methods
• U.S. citizenship required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly document observations and follow procedural steps
• Commitment to a 12–16 week engagement with hours coordinated around academic schedule

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify test setup components per certified conductor checklist.
• Shadow test executions, noting parameters, sequences, and anomalies.
• Log measurements and data points using prescribed forms or digital tools.
• Assist with post‑test data organization, preliminary trending, and preparation of summary observations.
• Support equipment teardown, calibration checks, and storage procedures as directed.
• Contribute to team meetings by sharing observational insights and asking informed questions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to all test area protocols.
