Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, OH seeks an Operations Team Lead for Depositor Services to coordinate daily workflows across Adjustments, Recon and Processing, Fulfillment and CD/IRA teams, ensuring production targets are met.

You will train staff, review processes, perform quality checks, reconcile accounts, resolve outages, and guide staff through complex systems such as Raft, ACE, Mobius, and Document Direct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 4 years of banking day 2 operations experience.
• Customer service focused; Previous call center experience for CD/IRA primary lead.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of operations systems and Excel/Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Manages productivity and workflow for the Adjustments team, Recon and Processing team, Fulfillment and CD/IRA team to achieve daily, weekly and monthly production goals set by management.
• Reconciles internal accounts, resolves outages, provides systems training, maintains procedural manuals, and handles escalated issues.
• Analyzes adjustment cases exceeding 60 days to minimize potential loss to the bank.
• Acts as expert in multiple complex systems to ensure timely completion of all tasks including end-of-day activities.
• Performs quality checks and coaches staff on issue resolution trends and turnaround times.
• Coaches team members to meet department turnaround times and supports development.
• Assists manager with performance appraisals, promotions and disciplinary actions.
