Job summary

North American Savings Bank (NASB) in Kansas City seeks a seasoned Assistant Vice President, Deposit Services Supervisor to lead the Deposit Operations team of about 10 staff. • Coordinate daily workflow, priorities, service levels, and operational deadlines for Deposit Services.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, training, and technical support to Banking Operations employees.
• Review transactions, reconciliations, exceptions, and approvals within delegated authority.
• Monitor customer and branch service channels to promote timely, accurate, and professional support.
• Use productivity, service, and quality reporting to identify trends, strengthen accountability, and guide coaching.
• Maintain procedures and controls, support audits and access reviews, elevate significant issues, and provide hands-on operational coverage as needed.

Position Overview

The Assistant Vice President, Deposit Services Supervisor helps lead daily deposit operations and a team of approximately 10 Banking Services employees. This working-leader role coordinates workflow, coaches employees, strengthens controls, resolves operational issues, and supports accurate, timely service while reducing customer, compliance, fraud, and financial risk.

• Coordinate daily workflow, priorities, service levels, and operational deadlines for Deposit Services.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, training, and technical support to Banking Operations employees.
• Review transactions, reconciliations, exceptions, and approvals within delegated authority.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a service-focused banking operations leader who brings:

• Five or more years of banking operations, deposit services, retail operations, or related financial-services experience.
• Previous lead, coaching, training, or supervisory experience; experience managing operational controls and performance measures is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of deposit operations, transaction processing, reconciliations, internal controls, information security, and consumer-compliance expectations.
• Sound judgment, analytical ability, organization, and clear communication with employees, customers, branches, vendors, and leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
