Job summary

ICCU in Chubbuck, Idaho is seeking a Deposit Services Manager to coach and lead a team delivering accurate, courteous member service. You will oversee daily deposit operations, ensure compliance with ACH and check regulations, and drive efficiency through process improvements and project work.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 1–3 years of managerial or financial experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality of member records.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and manage the Deposit Services team to ensure service standards and department goals.
  • Oversee daily Deposit Services functions including posting, balancing, and file maintenance in regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with payments industry regulations, ACH and check regulations (Reg E, etc.).
  • Lead process improvements and project management for system and process changes.
  • Hire, train, and conduct performance appraisals; support resource planning.

Coaches team to reach department and Credit Union goals. Effectively manages and completes special projects. Ensures member satisfaction through courteous, accurate, and efficient service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with management of dailyDeposit Servicesfunctions including transaction posting, balancing, file maintenance while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with overseeingthe servicing of Idaho CentralCredit Union deposit products including IRA/HSA processing, ACHprocessing,check processing, mobile deposit processing, wires transfers, cash ordering etc.
  • Maintain a strong, current understanding and ensure regulatory compliance regarding the payments industry, ACH and check regulations, Reg E etc.
  • Analyze business needs anddevelopefficient processes to support Idaho Central Credit Union's growth.
  • Provide direction and implement solutions in response to current and future fraud trends to mitigate potential loss to Credit Union and manage resource workload.
  • Coach and measure team effectiveness along with projecting resource management to reach goals and objectives of the department and Credit Union
  • Effectively hire, train and coach team and complete annual performance appraisals and team member Strength Development Plan’s.
  • Assist with managing projects to implement system and process changes.
  • Ensuremembersatisfactionthroughcourteous,accurate,andefficient service.
  • Work to continuously improveteam's servicelevelto members
  • AssistDeposit Services Managerwith vendor management related toprocessing functions.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years managerial or financial experience preferred. Ability to work with other managers in Operations to r each department goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capable of maintaining the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records at all times.

PerformanceStandard:

Manage the Deposit Services team while maintaining a positive environment. A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other Credit Union staff. Dedicated to serving our internal members and holding team accountable for the Credit Union's service standard. Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by ICCU.

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers,marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
