Job summary

Heartland Credit Union in Madison, WI is seeking a Deposit Services Processor to support daily account servicing and regulatory compliance.

You will monitor reports, research member requests, coordinate with Retail staff to resolve issues, process subpoenas and garnishments, and assist with POA, Trust, and fiduciary accounts.

This position offers growth within Heartland's Deposit Services team and exposure to a broad range of banking activities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of working in a financial institution, working with new account origination and member service
• Understanding compliance in relation to deposit account servicing to include BSA and Truth in Savings
• Communication skills, Organizational and analytical skills, Ability to meet deadlines, Attention to detail, Ability to multitask

Responsibilities

• Monitors daily, weekly and monthly reports for accuracy and completeness
• Compiles research and tracks member requests and issues and coordinates with Deposit Services Supervisor or other departments
• Coordinates with Retail staff to manage maintenance, member correspondence and research to resolve department issues
• Processes and responds to subpoena, levy and garnishment requests from multiple agencies
• Provides employee support for POA, Trust and fiduciary accounts and questions
• Provides employee support for consumer, business, HSA, IRA, and Decedent accounts
• Responds to asset verifications from Social Security and Medicaid
• Conducts daily review and validation of dormant member transactions
• Performs maintenance and insider relationship tracking on employee accounts
