Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Deposit Operations Fraud Support Specialist to monitor consumer and commercial accounts, process transactions, reconcile accounts, and detect fraud. The role supports Bank policies and regulatory requirements, protecting customers and the institution.

Hours require in-office presence weekly at one of the locations: Homestead, FL; Charleston, SC; or McKinney, TX, with team collaboration across departments to mitigate risk and ensure accuracy in operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years banking experience required.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and other dept software.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential account monitoring and fraud detection duties.
• Process requests with in-depth research while complying with regulations and bank policies.
• Assist branches and other lines of business with inquiries and procedures.
• Conduct manual reviews to identify errors not caught by automation.
• Interpret data to identify fraudulent patterns and communicate findings clearly.
