Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Device Deployment Technician for on-site deployment, configuration, and support of new endpoint devices in Tallahassee, FL. The role focuses on provisioning desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripherals, plus tagging and asset management.

You will verify system readiness, ensure profiles and network connectivity, and hand off validated devices to users. This contract position offers benefits and a competitive hourly rate.

• Strong troubleshooting to ensure profiles, printers, network, and apps function correctly

The Device Deployment Technician is responsible for the preparation, deployment, installation, and support of new endpoint devices.

Device Deployment & Configuration

• Deploy, install, and configure new desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripheral devices.
• Perform device asset tagging according to organizational standards.
• Be sure user profiles, printers, network connectivity, and required applications are all functioning properly
• Verify device functionality and ensure all systems meet deployment standards before handoff.

Inventory & Asset Management

• Track hardware inventory and maintain accurate asset records.
• Document deployed devices, serial numbers, assigned users, and clinic locations.
• Coordinate equipment receiving, staging, and disposal activities.
• Ensure compliance with asset management procedures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tallahassee, FL.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
