Job summary

Insight Global is seeking Deployment Technicians to support the setup of a new hospital in downtown Indianapolis. You will install, configure, and support IT hardware in a live healthcare environment, collaborating with hospital IT staff, clinical teams, and project personnel to ensure devices are deployed accurately and functioning properly.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of IT deployment experience, hands-on skills with imaging and configuration, and the ability to work independently on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and install IT hardware including desktops, monitors, printers
• Unbox, stage, and prepare equipment for deployment
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues during deployment
• Ensure proper setup, connectivity, and functionality of all devices
• Support post go-live validation, testing, and issue resolution
• Document deployment activities and follow procedures

Overview

We are seeking Deployment Technicians to support the setup of a new hospital in downtown Indianapolis. This role involves installing, configuring, and supporting IT hardware in an active healthcare environment. Technicians will partner closely with hospital IT staff, clinical teams, and project personnel to ensure all equipment is deployed accurately and functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and install IT hardware including desktops, monitors, printers, label printers, and related equipment
• Unbox, stage, and prepare equipment for deployment
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues during deployment
• Ensure proper setup, connectivity, and functionality of all devices
• Support post go-live validation, testing, and issue resolution
• Document deployment activities and follow established procedures

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and support hardware including desktops, laptops, and printers
• Work onsite within a fast-paced hospital environment
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support during deployments
• Collaborate with IT teams and clinical staff to align deployments with workflows
• Support go-live activities and assist with post-deployment issues
• Follow hospital safety, security, and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of IT deployment experience
• Experience with imaging, configuration, and cable management
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Must wear steel-toed or composite-toed shoes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a healthcare environment
• A+ or other relevant certifications
