Job summary

Merge Labs in San Francisco is seeking a Deployment Strategist to lead large-scale customer deployments, coordinating engineering, solutions, and product teams to deliver timely, high-impact integrations.

You will own end-to-end projects, communicate clearly with customers and internal teams, and drive adoption and long-term value while surfacing insights to improve our products and processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical project management or a related field in technical SaaS environments.
• Experience working with technical products and collaborating closely with engineering teams.
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with high visibility and impact.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end project management of large-scale customer deployments, from kickoff, successful go-live, and beyond.
• Serve as the main liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure project success.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources, including engineering, solutions, and product, to deliver on complex customer requirements.
• Lead regular status meetings, provide progress updates, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the deployment lifecycle.
• Surface customer feedback and deployment insights to inform product and process improvements.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customer stakeholders.

We are seeking a Deployment Strategistto lead and project manage our largest and most complex customer deployments. As the primary point of contact for select accounts, you will orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver successful, timely, and high-impact integration projects. You’ll partner closely with customers, engineering, product, and solutions teams to ensure a seamless onboarding and deployment experience. Your role will be critical in driving customer satisfaction, adoption, and long-term value, while also surfacing insights to improve our products and processes.

What you will do:

Compensation

• The cash compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $165,000

• Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications. In addition to cash compensation, all employees receive an equity compensation package
