Job summary

Prax Industries is building AI systems for industrial environments, with ScrapChef combining AI, physics and data to optimize steelmaking. As a Deployment Strategist, you will bridge customers and technology in production deployments.

You will work with customers inside major facilities, translate problems into technical requirements, and lead deployments from discovery through production, collaborating with engineers, researchers and plant operators.

Our flagship product, ScrapChef, combines AI, physics and industrial data to optimise steelmaking — helping major producers make better decisions around scrap purchasing, material mixes and furnace operations.

As a Deployment Strategist, you'll sit at the intersection of our technology, our customers and the physical world — turning complex industrial challenges into opportunities for AI to create measurable value.

What you'll do

You’ll work directly with customers to understand their operations, identify opportunities and lead the deployment of Prax's technology into production:

• Work directly with customers inside major industrial facilities
• Understand complex operational, commercial and technical problems
• Identify where AI and optimisation can create meaningful value
• Translate customer problems into clear technical requirements
• Work closely with engineers, AI researchers, physicists and plant operators
• Lead deployments from initial discovery through to production
• Analyse operational data and communicate insights to customers
• Drive adoption, measure impact and continuously improve solutions

You’ll need to become deeply familiar with both the customer's business and Prax Industries technology — acting as the bridge between the two.
