Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • APICS certification preferred.
  • Experience with SAP ECC and SAP APO/SCM is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret and work with complex data sets.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Determine deployment and redeployment of finished goods to manage Distribution Center inventory levels and customer order fulfillment.
  • Achieve service level targets while balancing inventory across the network and minimizing transportation costs.
  • Create Stock Transfer Orders and optimize truckload and rail shipments to improve freight efficiency.
  • Resolve dispatch and delivery issues with warehouse and transportation partners.
  • Identify and support resolution of slow-moving, aged, obsolete, diluted, and discontinued inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of hold products and support disposition activities in accordance with company policies.
  • Support product recalls, stock withdrawals, and traceability requirements.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning to review forecasts, identify sales trends, and help prevent customer shortages.
  • Provide accurate and timely inventory and shortage visibility to Customer Service, Supply Planning, and Distribution teams.
  • Partner with Plant Operations, Plant Scheduling, and Supply Planning teams to optimize customer service, inventory levels, and manufacturing efficiencies.
  • Lead special projects and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

About The Role.

This position is responsible for overseeing product deployment and managing SKU-level inventory across Distribution Centers while ensuring the fulfillment of customer orders. The role partners closely with Customer Service, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Distribution, Operations, Quality, and other cross-functional groups to optimize service levels, inventory performance, and supply chain costs.
