Job summary

McCain is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Analyst to serve as the SPoC for inventory transactions, EDI processing, and system integration across the North American distribution network.

You will support McCain plants, 3PLs, and inventory accounting partners by resolving inventory and transaction issues, managing integrations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives using SAP, E2Open, and WMS systems.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in supply chain, business, finance, data analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years in distribution, warehousing, inventory management, or supply chain.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, E2Open, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience researching and resolving SAP inventory and EDI transaction issues.
  • Understanding of warehouse management and end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact for IDoc failures, EDI failures, inventory discrepancies, and transaction issues across the North American distribution network.
  • Monitor inventory management activities including IDoc processing, batch-level reconciliations, monthly reconciliations, and STO reconciliations.
  • Investigate recurring system, inventory, and integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions and retraining as needed.
  • Support SAP inventory issues and testing of enhancements at production locations.
  • Lead setup, testing, training, and implementation of new third-party warehouse partners and new EDI transaction requirements.
  • Maintain ownership of North American warehouse EDI maps (940, 943, 944, 945, 946, 847).
  • Collaborate with internal teams, warehouse partners, and vendors to support SAP, E2Open, WMS, and supply chain system enhancements.

About the role.

The Warehouse Inventory Analyst serves as the Single Point of Contact (S.P.O.C.) for inventory transactions, EDI processing, and system integration activities across McCain's North American distribution network. This role is responsible for supporting McCain plants, third-party warehouse providers (3PLs), and inventory accounting partners by resolving inventory and transaction-related issues, managing system integrations, maintaining EDI processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in inventory reconciliation, IDoc and EDI error resolution, warehouse system enhancements, project execution, vendor management, and the implementation of new warehouse and transportation capabilities across the network.

What you’ll be doing.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for IDoc failures, EDI failures, inventory discrepancies, and transaction issues across the North American distribution network.
  • Monitor and support inventory management activities including IDoc processing, batch-level inventory reconciliations, monthly inventory reconciliations, and STO reconciliations.
  • Investigate recurring system, inventory, and integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions and user retraining as needed.
  • Support McCain production locations with inventory transaction processing, troubleshooting, and resolution of SAP inventory-related issues.
  • Lead the setup, testing, training, and implementation of new third-party warehouse partners and new EDI transaction requirements.
  • Maintain ownership of North American warehouse EDI maps, including 940, 943, 944, 945, 946, and 847 transaction sets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, warehouse partners, and technology vendors to support SAP, E2Open, WMS, and supply chain system enhancements.
  • Manage inventory accounting vendor performance and support compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain and update applicable EDI tables, outputs, system documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in supply chain integration projects, system upgrades, testing activities, cutovers, and implementation initiatives.
What you’ll need to be successful.
  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP, E2Open, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience researching and resolving SAP inventory and EDI transaction issues.
  • Understanding of warehouse management, inventory processes, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes within complex datasets.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including testing, implementation support, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours during seasonal peaks or critical implementation periods.
Nice to Have:
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with quality hold and release processes.
  • Experience with data management tools and reporting platforms.
  • System integration and vendor relationship management experience.
About the team.

The Warehouse Inventory Analyst is part of the External Warehousing organization and reports to the Sr. Manager of External Warehousing. This role works closely with EDI Analysts, Logistics Operations, Logistics Systems teams, Customer Service, WNS Inventory Accounting, third-party warehouse providers, and external technology partners. The position plays a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, system integration reliability, and operational excellence across McCain's North American distribution network.

Compensation Package: $65,500.00 - $87,400.00 . USD annually + Bonus eligibility
