Job summary

Base is seeking a Deployment Operations Specialist in Austin to manage Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and subcontractor inventory operations. You will coordinate materials and ensure teams have the resources they need for successful deployments.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in supply chain or inventory management, building efficient systems and processes to support the company’s rapid growth and complexity.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in supply chain operations, industrial engineering, inventory management, or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Build systems to manage consigned inventory for subcontractors.
• Define processes to track and reconcile subcontractor‑held inventory.
• Coordinate warehouse staging activities for material pick‑up and return.
• Manage Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs across markets.
• Transition inventory processes from manual to automated workflows.
