Aaru is seeking a Deployment Lead in San Francisco to manage client relationships from discovery through long-term collaboration. You will guide tailored analyses and deliver simulation-driven insights to senior stakeholders, partnering with the founders to tackle diverse challenges using advanced predictive tech.

You will own engagements end-to-end, coordinate across engineering, product, and commercial teams, and identify opportunities for expansion across industries.

About The Role

As a Deployment Lead, you will manage client relationships at Aaru from initial contact through long-term collaboration. The Deployment team partners with clients to configure tailored analyses and deliver simulation-driven insights directly to senior client stakeholders. You will work closely with Aaru's founders to serve a wide variety of clients, addressing an even broader range of challenges using the most exciting predictive technology since the astrolabe.

Responsibilities

• Own client relationships end-to-end, from discovery and scoping through deployment and long-term collaboration
• Represent Aaru in senior client settings — CEOs, CMOs, and C-suite equivalents — with the presence and polish to make every interaction land
• Execute complex, high-quality deliverables independently and at speed, translating rough direction into client-ready outputs
• Coordinate across engineering, product, and commercial teams to keep deployments on track and clients well-served
• Identify and scope new engagement opportunities across industries

You May Be a Fit If

• You have 2+ years at a top consulting firm, investment bank, or in a strategic operations role at a high-growth startup — and you've owned workstreams or client relationships, not just supported them
• You're self-directed in ambiguity — you can shape an unclear ask into a crisp workstream, flag issues early, and deliver without hand-holding
• You have strong analytical skills and can work fluently with complex data and communicate findings clearly in writing and in person
• You're excited to work fully in-person in SF and bring genuine curiosity about AI and global affairs

Strong Candidates May Also

• Speak multiple languages
• Have proficiency in Python or familiarity with AI tools and complex software
• Have a background in technology or engineering
• Have experience implementing and executing projects across long timescales
• Have a background in traditional market research and consumer insights (e.g., survey design, focus groups, quantitative/qualitative analysis, syndicated data sources) with a strong foundation in translating research findings into actionable business recommendations

Location

This role is based in San Francisco. Aaru is an in-person company, working 5 days a week in office. Candidates are expected to be located within the San Francisco metropolitan area or open to relocation.

As a Deployment Lead, you’ll work directly with Aaru partners in order to manage their simulations, projects, and needs. You’ll help scout customers, working with them from discovery to leading their long term collaboration with Aaru.

Compensation Range

$180K - $300K
