Job summary

3C Metal is seeking a dedicated Deployment Fitter to join our Houston team. You will perform fit up and installation work for piping and structural components in workshop, offshore, and remote locations. The role requires reading engineering drawings and ensuring weld-fit quality per tolerances.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of industry experience, knowledge of welding parameters and equipment, and a proactive, safety-conscious mindset. English fluency is preferred; other languages are a plus.

Position overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deployment Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking various Fit up and Installation works for the fabrication of Piping and Structure in our workshop, offshore, and in remote locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up piping/structure according to Engineering Drawings.
• Ensuring high quality fit up is conducted on all fabrication work based on required tolerances required for the welding process.
• Involved with Daily Morning Toolbox meetings to ensure the day’s activities are clear and addressing any safety concerns/issues/topics.

Profile

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience:

• Experience in Offshore work, Shipyard work or Workshop work.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of Industry Experience.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of filler metal requirements
• Working knowledge of setting necessary welding parameters (amps, volts, etc)
• Knowledge of welding equipment
• Understand and apply different fit up techniques for Piping and Structure
• Ability to read Engineering drawings
• Adhering to health and safety policies

Personal Attributes:

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized
• Ability to educate and raise awareness among staff
• Fluency in English (additional languages a plus)
