Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking an experienced Deployment Engineering Manager to lead the technical squad delivering robotic welding cells on customer floors. You will scale field operations, standardize processes, and drive first-time quality across deployments.

You will own the Jira workflow, triage urgent tickets, and collaborate with Product and Fleet Operations to prioritize fixes and improve hardware designs. Travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of deployment/field engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical engineers in a field or customer-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and robotics.
• Ability to develop standardized processes and operational metrics.

Responsibilities

• Scale the deployment engineering function by recruiting, training, and onboarding technical field talent.
• Build SOPs, playbooks and commissioning checklists to accelerate time-to-value.
• Implement field metrics for installation hours and calibration efficiency.
• Own the Field Jira Lifecycle: document bugs from discovery to resolution.
• Rapid SLA triage and respond to field tickets in real time.
• Analyze Jira data to prioritize bug fixes and product hardening.
• Produce RCA write-ups for deployment blockers.
• Collaborate with Operations and Product Engineering to improve hardware form factors.
