Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Deployment Engineer in Las Vegas, NV. The role focuses on generating innovative IT solutions, coordinating deployments, and partnering with vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.

You will document metrics for senior management, train staff, and develop automation scripts while supporting end-user verification during deployment. Weekend shifts are required and the position offers an hourly starting rate.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of IT experience in a similar role.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Associate degree in IS/IT/CS or related field preferred.
• Experience in resort settings preferred.
• Cross‑platform experience and ability to resolve integration issues.
• Knowledge of system/integration level testing preferred.
• Strong QA background preferred.
• Basic CLI scripting; MCP or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze hardware and software needs for project planning and make recommendations.
• Develop innovative solutions and propose process improvements.
• Document project metrics for senior management review and coordinate deployments.
• Manage deployments to meet project goals within scope.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for project implementation.
• Collaborate with end users pre- and post-deployment to verify delivery.
• Develop automation scripts and deployment documentation.
• Train and lead technicians or contingent workers for projects.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues on company and non-company devices.
