Job summary

Kaztronix in Bremerton, WA seeks a network support professional to provide planning-phase advice and rapid problem-solving during deployment and execution for USMC units. You will install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNS, AD, and Exchange.

Responsibilities

• Provide network technical advice during deployment planning and coordinate swift networking solutions during execution.
• Provide direct computer and network support (routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNS, AD, Exchange), including configuration, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting for USMC deployed units.
• Assist in development and execution of Information Assurance (IA) training for deployed units.
• Submit foreign country clearance requests, obtain visas, and document deployments in government templates; conduct post-deployment reviews.
• Coordinate return of unused equipment and transportation of HW/SW for contingency operations; obtain all import permits.

Job description

Provide network technical advice and assistance during the planning phase of a deployment or exercise and coordinate swift solutions to networking problems during the execution phase. Provide direct computer and network support to include router, firewall, Intrusion Detection Systems/Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Domain Name System (DNS), Active Directory (AD) and Exchange, configuration, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting to USMC deployed units. Assist in the development and execution of Information Assurance (IA) training for deployed units. Provide direct support to the D-30 process.

Support operational requirements for the operational environment;identify required Hardware (HW) and Software (SW);submit personnel foreign country clearance requests and obtain necessary visas;document the result of the deployment in a Government-provided template with input and conduct a post-deployment review with the Government;coordinate return of any unused and reusable equipment to stock;coordinate the transportation of all HW and SW required to support contingency operations and obtain all import permits.

Experience providing deployed support. Must possess an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification and an Operating System (OS)/Application Certification (i.E. Microsoft/Cisco). Microsoft or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred.
