Job summary

StratasCorp in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, seeks a Deployed Support Specialist to provide on-site network planning and deployment support for DoD IT operations. The role requires reporting on-site daily with no remote options.

You will configure AD, DNS, firewall, IDS/IPS, and Exchange, and assist IA training, D-30 processes, and asset coordination for contingency deployments. Secret clearance and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Security+ certification required.
• CCNA or MS/Cisco OS/App certification preferred.
• OEM network support certification mentioned.

Responsibilities

• Provide network technical advice during deployment planning.
• Support networks for deployed units incl. routers, IDS/IPS, DNS, AD, Exchange.
• Assist IA training development and execution.
• Coordinate D-30 process and deployment documentation.
• Manage hardware/software requirements and import permits.

Job Description

This role is located on site in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Individual must report to work on site daily; there is no remote or work from home options available.

Job Description:

• Provide network technical advice and assistance during the planning phase of a deployment or exercise and coordinate swift solutions to networking problems during the execution phase.
• Provide direct computer and network support to include router, firewall, Intrusion Detection Systems/Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Domain Name System (DNS), Active Directory (AD) and Exchange, configuration, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting to USMC deployed units.
• Assist in the development and execution of Information Assurance (IA) training for deployed units.
• Provide direct support to the D-30 process.
• Support operational requirements for the operational environment; identify required Hardware (HW) and Software (SW); submit personnel foreign country clearance requests and obtain necessary visas; document the result of the deployment in a Government‑provided template with input and conduct a post‑deployment review with the Government; coordinate return of any unused and reusable equipment to stock; coordinate the transportation of all HW and SW required to support contingency operations and obtain all import permits.

Job Requirements

• Experience setting up accounts using Active Directory

Education and Certification Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Security+
• At least One Cisco Networking Certification
  • Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification and an Operating System (OS)/Application Certification (i.e. Microsoft/Cisco).
  • Microsoft or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred.

The anticipated salary range for this role is$50,000 to $60,000 annually.The anticipated salary range for this position is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. The final starting salary will be determined based on a variety of job‑related factors, including the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and work location (where applicable), as well as internal equity and market considerations.
