Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions in Newport, Rhode Island is seeking a Deployed Support Specialist – Mid-Level to provide network and systems support for deployed U.S. Marine Corps units.

You will perform hands-on network troubleshooting, IA coordination, and deployment logistics during exercises and operations. The role requires 4+ years of deployed experience, an Active Secret clearance, IAT Level II certification, CCNA or equivalent OS certifications, and hands-on work with routers, firewalls, DNS,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience providing deployed network or systems support with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) is required.
• CCNA or equivalent OS certification (Microsoft or Cisco) preferred.
• Hands-on experience with deployed networks, AD, DNS, and Exchange.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct network and systems support for deployed units including configuration, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNS, AD, and Exchange.
• Offer network guidance during deployment planning and coordinate rapid resolution of networking issues during exercises and deployments.
• Support IA training and the D-30 process while coordinating hardware, software, transport, permits, visas, and clearance requirements.
• Document deployment activities, conduct post-deployment reviews, and coordinate return/restocking of reusable equipment.
