Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Operations Support Technician to support a DoW customer in Springfield, VA. You will help field deployable capabilities for the Personnel Recovery mission, establish training readiness, and sustain operational capability across CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Requirements include active Top Secret with SCI eligibility, 5+ years in Personnel Recovery or related military experience, and strong writing/communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility (US citizenship requirement).
• Experience with RF, airborne sensors, GPS and RF deployment.
• 5+ years in Personnel Recovery or related military experience.
• Operational deployment experience.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency with PR equipment, capabilities, processes, procedures and devices.
• Deploy and operate mobile RF equipment on ground and aviation platforms.
• Coordinate and participate in training scenarios and exercises testing RF devices.
• Develop training, tactics and procedures for PR capabilities.
• Maintain readiness of PR capabilities and supporting equipment; perform maintenance, inspections, testing and troubleshooting.
• Serve as a custodian for assets and maintain accountability.
• Prepare operator support plans, training guides and security plans; participate in capability requirements drafting.
• Coordinate briefs for COCOM and interagency stakeholders.
• Establish relationships with community partners and customers.
• Participate in seminars and meetings on new technologies and applicability to PR mission.
• Plan and support test events, exercises and evaluations.
• Provide initial and refresher training on equipment use to customers.
• Provide technical support/advice on PR equipment and capabilities.
