Job summary

Anduril is seeking a Systems Engineer for its Air Defense portfolio supporting the U.S. Army. You will own a defined part of the system, manage requirements and verification, and perform hands-on hardware integration, calibration, and testing at the range.

You’ll produce and defend design reviews and field procedures. You will travel to customer sites to support deployments, maintain fielded systems through updates, and document interfaces for program teams. This role is based in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Engineering, science, or other technical degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of systems engineering on hardware and software systems.
• Ownership of a subsystem through verification and fielding.
• Ability to turn a defined scope into clear requirements and verification steps, then plan and run tests.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, with periods up to 50% during tests and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Own requirements and verification for your scope; write and defend your portion of design reviews.
• Integrate, calibrate, and test the hardware; configure systems before shipment and run burn-in and range tests.
• Maintain interface documentation and training content for field teams.
• Root-cause issues from logs and data; travel to sites for hands-on problem solving.
