Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Deployable Avionics Technician 2 at Edwards AFB, CA. The role requires installing and testing avionics wiring, reading diagrams, and handling wiring harnesses in accordance with FAA regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 2 years additional education/experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. passport.
• Must have active US Government Secret (or higher) clearance.
• Mobility and on-call readiness for 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionics wiring per specs and FAA regulations.
• Fabricate and test installation, routing, clamping and wiring harnesses.
• Read wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Operate specialty vehicles and work in approved environments.
• Follow instructions and communicate effectively.
