Job summary

Raytheon in El Paso, TX is seeking a Lead Maintainer for the deployed Forward-Based AN/TPY-2 radar system. You will supervise field engineers, coordinate maintenance, and ensure 24/7 readiness in challenging environments.

Requirements include STEM degree with 8+ years of experience or related advanced degree with 5+ years, leadership experience, and strong troubleshooting and technical writing skills. This unaccompanied deployable role offers rotation and on-site/hybrid work.

Qualifications

Experience in troubleshooting and checkout of AN/TPY-2 systems.
Demonstrated leadership or management experience.
Strong technical writing and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise, train, and lead Field Engineers in day-to-day operations and maintenance.
Coach CLS Maintenance team for skill development and growth.
Provide performance feedback and assess team goals.
Ensure SOP compliance and adhere to guidelines.
Participate in radar site meetings and contribute to operations.
Develop and oversee a preventive maintenance program and maintain records.
Install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify AN/TPY-2 radar equipment.
Analyze failures, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Recommend design improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor diagnostics software and evaluate radar system performance.
Conduct fault isolation and corrective maintenance procedures.
Maintain detailed documentation and logs.
Review operations and maintenance processes for improvements.
Manage ALCS data entry and configuration management.
Conduct independent audits and inspections as directed.
