Job summary

Raytheon Technologies Corporation is seeking a Lead Maintainer for a deployed Forward-Based AN/TPY-2 radar system. You will supervise and train engineers, oversee preventive maintenance, and ensure 24/7 mission readiness in challenging environments.

You will coordinate with Army units, maintenance teams, and systems engineering, applying deep diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning to sustain radar operations and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Completion of the AN/TPY-2 Core Conduct course and on-the-job training OR Army THAAD / AN/TPY-2 experience OR Raytheon Skill Bridge training.
• At least five years’ experience in troubleshooting and operational checkout of AN/TPY-2 systems.
• Documented leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and lead Field Engineers in daily operations and maintenance.
• Coach CLS Maintenance team to develop technical skills and growth.
• Provide performance feedback and identify developmental needs for team members.
• Ensure SOP compliance and adherence to guidelines.
• Develop and oversee a preventive maintenance program and maintain records.
• Install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify AN/TPY-2 radar equipment.
• Analyze failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
