Job summary

RTX Corporation in El Paso, TX seeks a CLS THAAD Team Lead to guide four Field Engineers ensuring the AN/TPY-2 radar runs 24/7. You will lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and deployment activities, coordinating with Army units and system engineers.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree, 8+ years of relevant experience, THAAD/AN/TPY-2 exposure, strong leadership, and excellent written and verbal skills. Travel may be required; a SECRET clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Completion of the AN/TPY-2 Core Conduct course and on the job training OR have US Army THAAD / AN/TPY-2 experience OR completed Raytheon Skill Bridge.
• At least five years’ experience in troubleshooting and operational checkout of AN/TPY-2 systems.
• Documented leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of four Field Engineers and mentor the maintenance team.
• Plan, develop, and execute preventive maintenance for the TPY-2 radar system and maintain records.
• Install, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and modify TPY-2 radar equipment and perform fault isolation.
• Coordinate with Army units, maintenance teams, and system engineering leads to support missions.
