The Department of Youth Development is seeking qualified candidates to fill an emergency Departmental Finance Manager I vacancy related to the homelessness crisis in the Budget & Fiscal Unit.
Under the emergency order, applicants who meet the requirements may be hired for an initial period of up to 90 days, with an opportunity for permanent County employment. Before the end of your initial work period, you will be assessed on your work performance. This assessment will be weighted 100%. Those who successfully pass the assessment will be considered for permanent appointment to Departmental Finance Manager I.
REQUIREMENTS
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business or Public Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a closely related field -AND- Two years of experience supervising administrative or clerical staff responsible for or assisting in the analysis, preparation and ongoing administration of a departmental or organizational budget, accounting, fiscal or auditing program.
