Job summary

The State of Michigan, Department of Health and Human Services, seeks a Departmental Analyst at the 9-P11 level in Lansing. The role supports the Analytics, LTC Finance & Reimbursement Policy Section within the Actuarial Bureau, handling data analysis on eligibility, utilization, and rate development for Long-Term Care providers, and assisting with Medicaid budget monitoring.

Position serves as an analyst supporting various functions of the Analytics, LTC Finance & Reimbursement Policy Section within the Actuarial Bureau. Identifies, accesses and works with a wide range of program and financial data. Assists with coordination of projects, conducts analysis and does research on eligibility, service utilization, and rate development for various provider types including Long-Term Care Providers. Conducts analysis to support development and monitoring of the Medicaid budget. Performs analyses to estimate the programmatic and fiscal impact of policy changes or proposed policy changes.

The office location for this position is at 400 S Pine Street, Lansing, MI, however, this position has the ability to work hybrid (combination of remote and office). Selected candidates who have been approved to work hybrid must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
