Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI seeks a Department Supply Technician to ensure clinical departments have essential products and equipment for patient care. You will manage stock, place orders, and coordinate with teams to prevent supply disruptions.

You will work 30 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, 12pm–6:30pm, with no weekends or holidays. Starting pay is $17.93/hour plus experience-based increases and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• 2 years minimum previous experience in an inventory or supply chain related role.
• Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills.
• Experience managing inventory and supplies to support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and supplies to ensure clinical departments have the materials needed to support patient care.
• Order, receive, stock, and distribute medical supplies, equipment, and other essential products throughout hospital and clinic locations.
• Monitor inventory levels, product usage, expirations, and recalls maintaining compliance and preventing supply disruptions.
• Partner with clinical teams, Supply Chain, and vendors to improve inventory processes, resolve supply issues, and support operational efficiency.
