Job summary

Cal Poly is seeking a Department Coordinator located at the Cal Poly Solano Campus in Vallejo, California. Reporting to the DRC Director, the Department Coordinator oversees day-to-day operations and administration of the department and testing center, with support for the testing center at the San Luis Obispo campus.

Responsibilities include budget management, purchasing, personnel support, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance with campus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of general office support experience.
• Experience in administrative support or related roles is preferred.
• Additional training or college coursework may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, coordination, and administration of the department and testing center.
• Provide administrative oversight for the Disability Resource Center and testing center.
• Support testing center activities at Cal Poly Maritime Academy and Solano Campus.
• Assist with departmental operations, budget management, purchasing, and personnel support.
• Help implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
