Polsinelli is seeking a Department Operations Specialist in the Nashville area to support the Business Department’s operations, financial management, and strategic initiatives. You will help drive efficiency, enhance reporting, and advance department performance.

The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented, with strong data-driven insights and the ability to manage multiple initiatives across teams and geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting.
• 5+ years in business operations, financial or data analysis, or project management within a legal environment.
• Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with reporting tools and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize department workflows, procedures, and reporting.
• Perform financial and operational analyses to identify trends.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports for leadership.
• Coordinate department initiatives, track progress and timelines.
• Maintain calendars, schedules, and planning sessions.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and integration of staff.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Marketing, and IT to align priorities.
