Big Y Foods, Inc. in Milford, MA seeks a Department Manager to lead the deli team and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will supervise all deli functions, drive sales and operations, and mentor staff while upholding food safety and company policies.

You will model Big Y’s culture of caring, maintain a professional appearance, and ensure flexible scheduling to meet store needs; cross-training across areas is encouraged.

The Department Manager is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by preparing and ensuring the freshest quality product. Deli Sales Managers achieve this through supervision of all functions in the deli department including but not limited to; achieving sales/operational results through ordering, production, decision making, customer and employee engagement, employee development, and encouraging an inclusive team atmosphere within the department, store and company. Department Managers are additionally responsible for compliance to all laws and company policies and procedures including labor and safety regulations, asset protection and food safety.
