Default Brand in Red Wing, MN is seeking a Department Manager for our Pets department. The role focuses on merchandising, sales, and delivering top customer service, reporting to the Store Manager, with days, nights, and alternating weekends.

This position requires extensive knowledge of pet products and a hands-on approach to leadership. Ideal candidate has a background in customer service, training, and merchandising in a retail environment.

Formación

Description

We have a career opportunity as a Department Manager of our Pets department at our Red Wing, MN location! The Department Manager is responsible for merchandising and sales within his or her assigned department. Department Managers are responsible to provide the highest level of customer service and report to the Store Manager. This position will require ability to work days, nights, and an alternating weekend schedule. Extensive knowledge of Pet products is preferred.

Pay Range: $15.00-$17.00 Depending on experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and coordinate the merchandising of assigned products.
• Set priorities for distribution of new merchandise within the assigned department.
• Ensure adequate inventory in all areas of assigned department.
• Assist customers with purchases.

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work an irregular work schedule

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma preferred
• Customer Service training and or experience preferred.
