McDonald’s franchise restaurant in Brownstown, IN is hiring a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and deliver fast, friendly service. You will supervise shifts, train staff, and ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing Training, Food Safety, Inventory, and People departments, hiring and scheduling crew, and driving sales while controlling costs in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedule and a passion for fast‑paced work.
• Must be 18 years or older to serve as a manager at a corporate‑owned restaurant.

• Ensure high‑quality, fast food delivery, food safety, cost control, and training of kitchen staff for new menu items.
• Hire qualified crew, provide training, and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals, while motivating and recognizing staff.

Job description

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. This franchisee owns a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products. However, this franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. If you are hired for this job, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Managers may also lead specific departments, overseeing systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results.
• Guest Service Department Managers ensure crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, oversee sales promotions, train staff in service procedures, and keep the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas organized for optimal service.
• Kitchen Department Managers ensure the restaurant delivers high‑quality, fast food; maintain food safety; control food costs; and train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.
• People Department Managers hire qualified crew, provide training, and schedule them to meet sales and profit goals. They also ensure crew members start well and receive motivation and recognition throughout their employment.
