Shoe Carnival, Inc. is seeking a Store Lead to oversee a department and drive store standards in a fast-paced retail environment. You will greet customers, train associates on service and product placement, and manage cash handling with a leader’s mindset.

The role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours, opportunities to grow into management, hands-on leadership experience, and a supportive team environment.

Formación

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence in taking initiative and leading by example.
• At least one year experience in retail, sales, or cash handling (preferred).
• Ability to learn and operate the POS system.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a department (such as Women’s, Men’s and Children’s departments) and support overall store standards.
• Greet and assist customers with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Train and guide associates on service, product placement, and cash handling.
• Handle transactions, returns, and safe/till counts as needed.
• Organize merchandise, displays, and help with truck unloading and floor moves.
• Promote current sales and programs.
• Delegate tasks and communicate clearly with the team.
